OUR SCIENCE

It is now established that if you’re on treatment and have an undetectable viral load, you cannot pass on HIV through sex. Undetectable = Untransmittable, or U=U. This simple equation has profound implications for everyone living with HIV, and for economies and governments around the world.

OUR SCIENCE

Why are we leaders in HIV innovation? Because we listen. We collect insights from people living with HIV around the world that informs our approach to the discovery and development of innovative new treatment and prevention options.

OUR SCIENCE

After spending a week at AIDS 2022, the world’s largest global health conference on HIV and AIDS, I’ve been thinking about the most wonderful trend we’re seeing in the field. There are fewer new cases of HIV each year, and people living with HIV are living longer.

OUR SCIENCE

Despite major advances in HIV treatment and prevention, there are still many unanswered questions that we need to address. For example, more research is needed to better understand whether some people living with HIV are prone to early development of certain diseases, and tend to age faster than people without HIV.
