LUIS AROSEMENA
SVP, Head of Europe & International
Luis Arosemena is Senior Vice President, Head of Europe & International, bringing over 25 years of experience leading businesses and teams across global markets. Luis joined ViiV Healthcare in 2026.
Prior to joining ViiV Healthcare, Luis held a series of global, regional and country leadership roles at GSK. Early in his career, he held senior commercial leadership positions across Asia Pacific and Latin America, including General Manager assignments and regional marketing leadership roles.
He later served in the CEO’s office as VP, Corporate Strategy, and in 2014 joined GSK’s Vaccines Executive Team as Head of the Global Commercial Organisation. From 2017 to 2020, Luis was General Manager and President of GSK Italy, and a Board member of Farmindustria, local trade association, where he chaired the Prevention Committee. From 2020 to 2025, he led GSK’s Emerging Markets region — the company’s third-largest business unit — spanning Latin America, the Middle East, CIS, Africa and Asia.
From 2025 to 2026, he served as SVP, Global Commercial Strategy, shaping the commercial operating model to accelerate innovation and enhance efficiency through technology and talent.
Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Lima and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
