Positive Perspectives Study: Understanding the unmet needs of people living with HIV

Positive Perspectives Study, Wave 1

The Positive Perspectives Study, Wave 1 asked 1,111 people living with HIV about their experiences with stigma, access to healthcare, and disclosure with the goal of prioritizing their voice and enhancing communications between PLHIV and their healthcare providers. The survey was conducted by ViiV Healthcare in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary expert panel that included HIV physicians, PLHIV and their partners, and community group representatives. 110 of the respondents were from Canada.

Positive Perspectives Study, Wave 2

The Positive Perspectives Study, Wave 2 asked 2,389 people living with HIV from 25 countries about the impact of HIV in their lives and their experiences with antiretroviral therapy (ART), having open and active dialogues with their healthcare professionals, HIV and women, and aging well with HIV. This study was conducted by ViiV Healthcare in collaboration with an advisory committee made up of community leaders, HCPs, and PLHIV. 120 of the respondents were from Canada.
