POSITIVE ACTION COMMUNITY GRANTS

Created in 1992, the Positive Action Community Grant program looks to fund community-based projects that reach those most affected by, or at risk of HIV, particularly in marginalised, hard to reach or vulnerable communities.

  • 2024

    Applications for the ViiV Healthcare Australia 2024 Positive Action Community Grants are now closed.  

    Positive Action Community Grants look to support projects that address the key issues that impact the lives of people with HIV in Australia. 

    In 2024, the grants will support projects that aim to:

    • Enhance quality of life for people living with HIV
    • Improve relationships between people living with HIV and healthcare professionals
    • Improve HIV-related knowledge in priority populations
    • Better health system responses to achieve the best long-term health outcomes for people living with HIV

    Important dates:

    Applications opened from 9 am on Monday, 2 September 2024.

    Applications closed at 5 pm on Tuesday, 1 October 2024.

    Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by November 2024. 

    We look forward to announcing the recipients of the Positive Action Community Grant Round for 2024.
