ViiV HEALTHCARE EMPLOYEE NAMED TOP MARKETER IN HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY, BY MEDICAL MARKETING & MEDIA
ViiV Healthcare’s Dustin Haines has been named 2015 Industry Marketer of the Year by Medical Marketing & Media.
Dustin has been a key leader of the ViiV Healthcare marketing team since our formation in 2009. As Vice President of Marketing, Dustin leads a global team to successfully bring our medicines to market. Upon notice of the award, Dustin was the first person to recognise that this recognition represents a team effort.
According to the award website, the Industry Marketer of the Year category recognises “marketing executives who have excelled in their roles for any healthcare organization,” including pharmaceuticals, biotechs, medical groups, and others. Dustin’s performance at ViiV Healthcare earned him the highest marks in the category, and glowing remarks from the judging panel.
One judge said that “Dustin's team executed an amazing launch in a difficult category,” according to a Medical Marketing & Media report.
“Dustin's leadership... resulted in a level of success unprecedented in the HIV category,” said another judge.
Dustin has been a long standing advocate for HIV treatment, holding roles within GSK’s HIV division prior to the formation of ViiV Healthcare. We are very proud of Dustin for his outstanding contributions to our company, and for his focus on people affected by HIV/AIDS.
The Medical Marketing and Media Awards recognise outstanding marketing in the healthcare industry, and are judged by an independent panel. The award was announced on 1 October, 2015 in New York.
