HIV TESTING WEEK

The European HIV Testing Week this year will be held from Friday 21 to Friday 28 November 2014. This initiative, first held in November 2013, aims to make more people living with HIV aware of their HIV status and reduce late diagnosis by communicating the benefits of early HIV testing. Encouraging testing for HIV is especially important as approximately 50% of those who are HIV positive are diagnosed late – which delays access to treatment
